Another review for the wonderful Smiley360 website, this time for Centrum Flavor Burst vitamins. As usual, although I was provided this product for free, this is my own opinion.

I'm definitely not a vitamin person. I have to take quite a bit of pills for medical reasons, and I just couldn't stand taking more. I also have a problem where pills sometimes get stuck in my throat and I have a hard time with that. However, I also want to keep healthy and I know one of the best ways to get my daily intake is to take a multi-vitamin. So when I heard about Centrum Flavor Burst chews, I was pretty excited to try it.
The flavor is actually really good. I have to say I was expecting it to be chalky and not that great, kind of like how chewable vitamins were when I was a kid. Not these. They reminded me of a grape gumball and didn't have any chalky texture or bad aftertaste, which was great.
A serving size is 4 chews (they are not sugar free), and here is a nutritional breakdown:

Calories: 25
Total Carbs: 6g
Vitamin A- 2,000 IU
Vitamin C- 60mg
Vitamin D- 800 IU
Vitamin E- 40 IU
Vitamin B6 : 2 mg
Folic Acid- 400 mcg
Vitamin B-12: 10 mcg
Biotin: 150mcg
Pantothenic Acid: 10 mg
Iodine - 80 mcg
Zinc- 5 mg
There is a downside to these however. As I mentioned, 4 of these equal one serving. I've checked prices in various areas and found them to be anywhere from $9.00 to $10. Here, it's about $9.50. That's about 10 cents a chew, so 40 cents for a serving. Compare that to most Centrum brand vitamins which are about 11 cents a pill, and you only take one of those. So if you are trying to be more cost efficient, you are better getting a standard multivitamin. They do contain 4 grams of sugar which aren't the best if you are on a low carb or sugar diet. Also, these contain soy, so avoid these if you have a soy allergy.
A big thing that bothered me, however, is that the Centrum Adults Under 50 has substantially more nutrients in it. Here's a little side by side comparison:

Final verdict: Centrum Flavor Burst are great if you have problems with swallowing pills or if just having a chewable one appeals to you. But you will be paying for the convenience, and you won't be getting as much as a standard multivitamin. However, they do taste great, so it's up to you to see what fits you better. If you do decide to try them, grab this $2.00 off coupon.
